I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to grow a business, especially when you’re doing it all on your own. I started DreamBuilders.Group because I saw a need—a need for a space where women could come together, share their experiences, and gain the knowledge and tools to build websites that not only represent who they are but also drive real business growth. My goal is to help you avoid the costly mistakes that can hold you back, while streamlining your journey, all within a supportive community where we all grow together.
My journey into the digital world started long before I ever knew what CSS was or could read code. My background is in behavioral science, which gave me a deep understanding of human behavior—why people do what they do. This insight has been invaluable throughout my career. I’ve been a counselor, a salesperson, a retail manager, and a newspaper columnist, but it was in October 2002 that I officially launched CyberCletch, my web strategy and design company.
For over 20 years, I’ve been helping small businesses get found online. I’ve seen the internet evolve from a sparse landscape to an overwhelming sea of information. I learned the ropes through trial and error, spending countless hours figuring out the complexities of web design, SEO, and digital marketing. Today, the challenge isn’t finding information; it’s cutting through the noise to find what’s relevant and actionable.
I noticed that many women in business need more help than they’re often willing to ask for. They’re balancing so much, and they’re often hesitant to invest in long-term support, even though the lack of website skills might be holding their businesses back. When I’m not helping women build their online empires, you’ll often find me exploring new places—whether that’s hiking in the wilderness, traveling to distant lands, or indulging in a good K-drama. My love for adventure and curiosity about human behavior has shaped my approach to life and business.
One of the driving forces behind starting my business was my desire to stay home with my sons while still pursuing a meaningful career. Over the years, my business has allowed me to balance being there for my family with building something that I’m passionate about.
Family is incredibly important to me. After marrying my sweetheart, James, on the beautiful shores of Chicxulub Beach, I now have two wonderful sons and two amazing step-sons. Our family wedding truly reflected our shared love for adventure and connection.
